Connect with nature at Armand Bayou Nature Center at 11:00am!

Start your excursion in Pasadena with a visit to Armand Bayou Nature Center. The center live animal displays, butterfly gardens, a boardwalk, and prairie nature trails. It houses over 370 species of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Visitors can learn about local flora and fauna, hike the nature trails, go birdwatching and spot animals like bison, snakes, hawks, alligators and more. It is also home to a Martyn Farm that features the agricultural life in Texas in the 1800s. Visitors can take a guided canoe tour or get on an electric pontoon boat called “Bayou Ranger” and take in the beauty! Wildlife and nature abounds at this place!
